About this book

This book provides a three-part investigation into identity construction. Theory, voice and praxis are all represented as the book follows the rationale, stories and narrative methodology of the study of a group of women. The final part of the book presents a new model of identity construction framed in women's health identity.

Reviews

"Women's health is traditionally structured around a series of milestones within a reproductive cycle, and women's voices are muted by the plethora of information that saturates society. Christodoulou seeks to remedy this by hearing the voices of women and in so doing she considers the role of health experiences in women's everyday lives. This positioning is both refreshing and powerful." - Community, Work and Family
