Submitting your draft typescript

Once your draft typescript is complete, please send in an electronic version and hard copy of your typescript. We can receive typescripts via email, but please pre-arrange this with your editor. Post a hard copy to:

What next?

Once your draft typescript has been received, you will be sent acknowledgement of its safe delivery.

Your typescript will be assessed in-house and also sent for peer-review by a number of external reviewers. Please be aware that this can take some time.

In light of these assessments your editor may give you feedback on possible enhancements, developments or changes that are necessary for you to make in your final revisions, before the book is ready for publication.

In a few cases (more likely in the Scholarly and Reference division) at draft stage, your book will be accepted for publication without any need for further revisions. Of course, you will be given clear instructions on whether or not revisions will be needed and the extent of these.
