Publication
Now your book is published, we won't just stop there. We will continue to promote your book via our catalogues, website and other appropriate promotion activity. If you have any questions or suggestions, do not hesitate to contact your editor, your marketing contact or authors@palgrave.com. See sales and marketing for more information.
Advance Copies
Before the publication date, if possible, we will send you an advanced copy of your book. Depending on where your book is printed, how many copies we receive (if any) and the specific printer, will dictate if this is possible. Do feel free to ask your editor for more information on advance copies.
Sales Figures
All editors have access to up-to-date sales figures. Therefore if you are interested in how sales are progressing, please contact your editor who will be able to let you know the number of sales and in which countries your book is being sold.
Author Royalties
ALCS
Did you know that you are also entitled to secondary royalties from collective licensing (such as photocopying in universities)? These royalties are collected and distributed by The Authors' Licensing and Collecting Society (ALCS). ALCS is a non-profit making organisation that was set up in 1977 by writers for writers in order to secure fair compensation for works that are copied, broadcast or recorded. If you are not already a member please visit their website to find out more at www.alcs.co.uk
