Film guide

Everyone knows that a picture speaks a thousand words – and in teaching OB this is particularly true.

‘OB in film’ features are included throughout the book, and this area of the website is designed to offer you additional ideas and resources to help you use film as an entertaining and illuminating OB teaching technique.

For each chapter of the book, a film or TV series has been suggested and notes given on how it can be used to draw out relevant points about OB.

  • How film can enhance learning – a few words from Ron Smith on why film is such an invaluable learning resource for teaching OB.
  • Film guide – handout for students offering questions, learning points and space for their own comments on each film.
  • Notes for lecturers – tips on how to use this resource.

The film guide has been written by Ron Smith. Click here to find out more about Ron and the other Work and Organizational behaviour authors.
