You are invited to the Brand Avatar launch in Second Life |
Alycia de Mesa, the author of
Brand Avatar, will be speaking about
virtual marketing and branding at
6.00pm (BST) on Wednesday 22nd April on the Elucian Islands in Second Life.
The author will discuss what real life brand strategies to keep in mind when branding in-world as well as the burgeoning field of virtual branding.
We will be giving out a free sample chapter of the book to everyone who attends the event, and the book will be available to buy at a special 20% discount.

To attend an event in Second Life, you need to download the program and create an avatar. This is free and easy, but the download and orientation takes approximately one hour, so we advise testing out Second Life the day before the event.
To get started creating your avatar, go to www.secondlife.com/join and follow the instructions from there. When you have logged into Second Life for the first time, you will need to teleport to Nature's island where the event will be held. To do this, click on the following link in your browser http://slurl.com/secondlife/Elucian%20Islands/252/206/23 this will open Second Life and offer you a direct teleport.
On the day of the event, Nature support will be there to help newcomers to Second Life make sure all your settings are correct and that you can see and hear the speakers clearly.
