Links to selected websites

Do a Google search on ‘entrepreneurship’ and you will get over 40 million results. Do one on ‘small firms’ and you will find over 57 million. Investigating so many sites is virtually impossible. This area of the website offers links to some of the more useful sites and gives you a brief indication of what you might find on each of them.

Do remember, however, that websites change rapidly, so always be willing to try a search for what you require.

Plagiarism

Information downloaded from websites is easily detected by specialist plagiarism software used by most universities. If you use any information from websites for your coursework assignments ensure that all direct quotes – text copied from the site – are placed in inverted commas and full web attribution is given. You may need to seek advice from your tutor on how much material can be used in this way. Failure to follow this advice may lead to your coursework being given a ‘fail’ mark.
