KEITH PILBEAM is Professor of International Economics and Finance at City University, London, UK. He teaches on the international programs of Boston University and has been Visiting Professor at the European University Institute in Florence. He has wordke for NatWest and the Royal Bank of Scotland and consults for a number of City financial institutions. He also advises the UK Foreign Office on international economic issues. He is President of the International Economics& Finance Society (UK) and author of the bestselling textbook International Finance, also published by Palgrave.
