Example bank
How to use the example bank
Examples are numbered according to the chapter of the textbook with which they correspond most directly – so examples 2.1 and 2.2 are particularly suitable for use with Chapter 2, example 5.1 with Chapter 5 and so on.
International examples (ie those not focusing exclusively on the U.S.) are marked with a ü symbol. Over half the examples in the bank are international.
The Example Bank Reference Grid gives a full list of all the examples in the bank and offers suggested page references for use alongside the textbook, as well as an indication of the geographical focus of each example.
In addition, the Notes for instructors give an outline of the examples that can be used in support of the material covered in each chapter of the book.
Questions are also available to help students reflect on the issues raised in a selection of the examples. Click here to access them.
