Example bank - Introduction
Welcome to the Public Sector Economics example bank, written and regularly updated by Richard Tresch, with contributions from public finance instructors around the world including John Considine (University College Cork, Ireland), Loek Groot (Utrecht School of Economics, Netherlands), Sarah Smith (Bristol University, UK) and Steinar Strøm (University of Turin, Italy).
The example bank consists of 38 examples, over half of which are international in scope. Each example is mapped directly on to the book by chapter number and page reference in the Example Bank Reference Grid, making it easy to use the book and the example bank together. Detailed suggestions on how the examples bank can be used to aid learning are also available in the instructor manual.
We hope that adopters of Public Sector Economics will enjoy using this unique resource and share their experiences and ideas with us. If you would like to contribute your own example or a teaching idea, click here to get in touch.
