Welcome to the companion website for

Minding The Markets

An Emotional Finance View of Financial Instability

by David Tuckett

Introduction
This site aims to provide further information about the methods used in the study of money managers described in the book. It includes some details of who they were (the sample) and what they were asked (the interview schedule) as well as minimally edited transcripts of the four interviews which were the basis for the discussion of ‘Four Fund Managers’ in Chapter 2.

The core findings are based on drawing conclusions from the interviews analysed by drawing random examples. Five randomly drawn examples are presented to support each of the core points.
