About this book series
This book series targets the publication of well-known names in modern and contemporary Arab literature, including feminist writer Dr. Nawal El Saadawi and renowned poets Mahmoud Darwish and Ahmed Hijazi, as well as potential young writers and winners of the Arab Booker Prize. The aim of this series is to introduce to English-speaking readers new material and important works from the canon of Arab literature that already enjoy an established audience and are seen as landmarks in the Arab literary tradition. Books in this series will also introduce rising stars in contemporary Arab literature whose works are promising and expected to be the landmarks of the future.
