Catalogue

The Palgrave Macmillan Catalogue has full multi-level search and browse facilities and is updated daily for the most accurate picture of our books in print.

Searching

You can search for any Palgrave Macmillan title currently in print by Author, Title, ISBN, Keywords, Series, Publication Year and availability on inspection (ICS). Simply type in the relevant search terms in the box provided on our Catalogue page and click on ‘Search’. The Palgrave Macmillan book database will then return a list of title links, which match the search terms entered, in order of relevance. If you are interested in a particular subject area we recommend using our Browse facility which lists the entire Palgrave Macmillan catalogue in numerous subject categories. If you require any help when performing a search please see our Search Tips page.

If you cannot find a title it may be for any of the following reasons:

  • The search terms were not entered correctly. (See our Search Tips page for further help)
  • The title is out of print.  You can now browse out of print titles
  • The title is not published by Palgrave Macmillan, but by some other division within Macmillan or even another publisher.

If you have checked that the above reasons do not apply and still cannot find information on a particular title please contact Customer Services by telephone on +44 (0)1256 302699 or e-mail orders@palgrave.com

You can browse the entire Palgrave Macmillan catalogue which has over 10 000 titles in many subject categories. Simply select the subject of your choice from the list provided on our Catalogue page. The Palgrave Macmillan book database will then return a list of title links found within the subject classification you have selected.

You can also browse by new books, and by books available on demand.

PDFs & Adobe Acrobat Reader

Some of the material on the Palgrave Macmillan web site is provided in PDF (Portable Document Format). PDF is an electronic document format developed by Adobe Systems Inc. It is a cross-platform file format which means that these documents can be sent across the Internet from user to user regardless of the user's platform or type of computer (Windows, Macintosh or UNIX). The advantage is that documents in PDF look exactly like the printed originals and contain all the page layout information, fonts, tables, pictures, equations etc.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is needed to read, search and print PDF files. Adobe Acrobat Reader software can be downloaded free of charge from the Adobe web site according to your computer platform.  (UK site | US site)
