I can't remember my username/password

We offer a facility to send you a password reminder via the password reminder page.

I haven't logged in before but my email address has been recognised. How do I get to know my password?

Should you have previously contacted Palgrave Macmillan we may already have your details on our database. The Registration process will recognise this. You can request a password be sent to you via the password reminder page.

How do I access my existing Module and adoption information or outstanding questionnaires?

If you have previously had contact with Palgrave Macmillan and we hold module or questionnaire/adoption details for you, your email address should be recognised on registration and our system will enable you to request a password be sent to you. You will then be able to access any module and questionnaire details on your account.

Should the email address you use not be recognised, we will need to amalgamate your old and new accounts. This normally happens within one working day, but should you find your details have yet to appear please contact lecturer services (link to email lecturer services) who will be able to add the relevant details.

How do I add Module information?

Palgrave Macmillan is able to store a list of Modules/courses that you teach. This allows us to let you know about forthcoming textbooks on the subject you are teaching and also allows you to be able to select the existing courses listed when ordering inspection copies.

To add a Module to your account or amend existing information, simply go to the 'Add, view and update module details' page . Any modules you add will immediately be available in the Modules lists when you order Inspection Copies.

How do I let you know if I am not teaching a module?

To let us know you now longer teach a module, simply go to the 'Add, view and update module details' page . Select to modify the module details and you will be presented with an option to say you no longer teach the module. You can also tell us the name and email address of the new lecturer teaching the module at the same time. The module will then no longer appear on your Modules list.

How do I let you know if a module is no longer running?

To let us know a module is no longer running, simply go to the 'Add, view and update module details' page . Select to modify the module details and you will be presented with an option to say a module is no longer running. The module will then no longer appear on your Modules list.

How do I complete an outstanding questionnaire?

Your questionnaires and adoption details are all available through the 'View my textbook adoptions/ textbook questionnaires' page. Outstanding questionnaires will be highlighted as 'Pending'. Simply click the update button to complete the relevant information.

I am not adopting this book for the module I first requested if for- how to I tell you about that?

If you are adopting the book for a different module please answer by saying you are NOT adopting the book for the module you requested if for. Please then click the 'add new adoption' function on the 'View my textbook adoptions/ textbook questionnaires' page. You will be able to add the ISBN of the book or search for the book by author or title. If you are adopting for a module that you have already listed on your account you will be able to select it on this screen, or if your module is not listed you can tell us about it on this page.

How do I let you know about adoptions of other Palgrave Macmillan / Bedford, Freeman, Worth books?

On the 'View my textbook adoptions/ textbook questionnaires' page there is an 'Add new adoption' button. Please then click this button and complete the page. You will be able to add the ISBN of the book or search for the book by author or title. I have changed University or Department, but am not able to alter this on My Palgrave- who do I contact?

Please email lecturerservices@palgrave.com to inform of a change of University or Department.

I am trying to order an Inspection Copy on-line but there is only the option for Purchase

Not all books are available to order as part of the Inspection Copy Service. Those that are available will be shown with an 'order inspection copy' option on the catalogue page.

Requests for Inspection Copies for titles that do not show this option are dealt with on a case by case basis; please contact lecturerservices@palgrave.com .

I have ordered an Inspection copy but it has yet to arrive. How do I find out about it?

Once an inspection Copy request has been authorised and the order placed with the warehouse for despatch, a questionnaire will be generated and will be visible on the ''View my textbook adoptions/ textbook questionnaires' section of My Palgrave. The presence of a questionnaire therefore indicates that your Inspection Copy request has been authorised.

We accept orders for books ahead of publication and questionnaires for books that are yet to be published will show on the questionnaire list as 'Not Yet Published'. Should an order be showing on My Palgrave and you have not yet received the book, please contact Palgrave Macmillan lecturerservices@palgrave.com .

All Inspection copy orders are subject to authorisation and Palgrave Macmillan cannot guarantee to fulfil all requests for copies. Authorisation for Inspection copy requests may involve consultation beyond the Palgrave Macmillan Lecturer Services team (e.g. non UK requests may be forwarded to local representatives) which may take several working days. Requests for copies for destinations handled by agencies will often be forwarded to that agency and will not be fulfilled from the UK.

Why can't I access the companion website/online product

Certain types of companion sites (also called Lecturer Zones) require authorisation from Lecturer Services as they are restricted for use of either Lecturers teaching the subject or, for some sites, only to those Lecturers who have confirmed that they are using the book on their course.

To gain access we need to know who you are, meaning you need to register with us at My Palgrave and then request access to the site. If you are then verified as a lecturer then access can be granted; we cannot give you access to the site until we receive your registration details.
