Tom Doctoroff is the Northeast Asia Area Director and Greater China CEO for J. Walter Thompson, the author of Billions, and a leading authority on marketing in China and Chinese consumer culture, with fourteen years of experience in mainland China. He has appeared on CNBC, NBC, Bloomberg, and National Public Radio and is frequently featured in publications ranging from the Financial Times and Businessweek to The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. He is also a columnist for the China Economic Review and the Chinese magazine Global Entrepreneur. Doctoroff is the recipient of the Magnolia Government Award, the highest honour given by the Shanghai municipal government to expatriates. He lives in Shanghai.

Alison Maitland and Peter Thomson, authors of Future Work: How Businesses Can Adapt and Thrive In The New World Of Work, are available to provide comment on the workplace and corporate culture.
Alison Maitland is a writer, speaker and conference moderator specialising in leadership, gender and work. A former long-serving Financial Times journalist, she is co-author of the prize-winning book Why Women Mean Business. She has been researching and writing about corporate culture and the changing workforce since the late 1990s, including eight years as FT Management Writer. She is Director of The Conference Board's Council for Diversity in Business and a Senior Visiting Fellow in the Faculty of Management at Cass Business School, London. A frequent conference speaker, she also regularly contributes articles to the Financial Times and other media.
Peter Thomson is an acknowledged authority on the changing world of work and its impact on organisation culture and management practices. He is a regular speaker on the future of work and, as a director of Wisework Ltd, advises clients on creating a corporate culture which supports new working practices. He is a Visiting Executive Fellow at Henley Business School where he was Director of the Future Work Forum for 16 years and he is now Research Director for the Telework Association. He spent the majority of his professional career in HR/Personnel and was head of the HR function in Digital Equipment when the company pioneered new working practices.
Peninah Thomson, co-author of Women and the New Business Leadership and Sarah Rutherford, author of Women’s Work, Men’s Cultures, are available to provide comment on the role of women in the workplace.
Peninah Thomson is a Partner of Praesta Partners, the UK's leading executive coaching firm, and Director of the FTSE 100 Cross-Company Mentoring Programme. Her early career was in the UK Foreign Office and NATO, and subsequently as a Director of the London office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has worked extensively with chief executives and boards in the public and private sectors in the UK and abroad on strategy, organizational change and culture, and leadership.
Sarah Rutherford runs her own diversity consultancy company, Rutherford Associates. She is a former financial journalist and was a non-executive director of investment bank Singer & Friedlander from 2003-2006. She has published a number of articles and research reports on gender and organizational culture, and speaks regularly on the subject to many audiences, contributing to television and radio programmes.
