Ten Palgrave Macmillan Journals receive Impact Factors in the 2008 Journal Citation Report
Ten Palgrave Macmillan Journals is pleased to announce that ten of our journals have received an Impact Factor in this year’s newly published Journal Citation Report. The Impact Factors, calculated by Thomson Scientific (ISI), look at 2007 citations for journal articles published in the period 2005-2006.
Highlights include top 10 placings in their subject categories for Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of Information Technology. There were also increased Impact Factors for Journal of the Operational Research Society, Feminist Review, Geneva Risk and Insurance Review and Journal of Public Health Policy, plus a first-ever ranking for Acta Politica.
David Bull, Director of Journals commented: ‘These placings demonstrate Palgrave Macmillan’s developing profile in the Journals market, which continues to grow with the recent acceptance of Journal of International Relations and Development and Asian Business & Management into the Journal Citation Index.’
