A note from the author

A significant problem faced by anyone writing about e-commerce is that the subject in question - by its very nature - is dynamic.

So it is that since I submitted the final draft of Key Concepts in e-Commerce to be sent to the printers the very subject of the book has moved on. Fortunately, the vast majority of the content stands the test of time - but in some aspects new terms have come into common use, or advances in technology have produced new words or phrases.

Naturally all these changes will be in the subsequent editions of the book, but for those with the current text this website will keep you up to date.

We will be adding to these additions and updates several times a year - if you want us to send you an email when we do so, simply enter your email address in the box below.

You might also want to visit my web site - alancharlesworth.eu. Developed originally as a resource for my students - but of interest to anyone studying, teaching or practicing e-commerce - the site has (amongst other things) links to useful web sites, comments on good and bad online practice and my musings on a variety of online-related issues.
