Exploring English with Online Corpora is aimed at students studying the English language, and beginning to formulate their own research questions. It offers students a straightforward introduction to the use of corpora for linguistic study and investigation, focusing entirely on freely accessible corpora which can be analysed online, without the need to download texts or analysis software. With a basic understanding of the nature of corpus data, and methods of corpus enquiry, students and teachers will rapidly discover that corpora can offer an answer to an infinite number of linguistic questions. We hope you will have a lot of fun along the way.
