Palgrave Advances in Linguistics

The books in this series focus on particular subjects that are of current critical importance within Linguistics.  The Editors have been chosen as people with a strong feel for what are the exciting developments in their field ; they are charged with mapping the territory, stretching the boundaries  and bringing to the reader’s attention to some of the most salient and rewarding work on the topic from active and forward-looking researchers.  Readers will be postgraduate students, upper-level undergraduates considering taking further studies, and experienced researchers and practitioners keen to dip into topics with which they may not be so familiar.
