About the Authors

Joe Cursley was Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of East London. He taught land law, employment and contract law for many years.

Mark Davys is Senior Teaching Fellow in the School of Law at Keele University, teaching land law and having previously practised in this area as a solicitor. He also co-ordinates the legal method and legal theory component of the CPE programme, as well as contributing to the development of Keele’s virtual learning environments. In 2007 he received the Keele University Individual Award for Learning and Teaching Excellence.

Kate Green was formerly Principal Lecturer in Law at the University of East London, specialising in land law and legal theory.
