  • 2013 PROSE Award in Psychology

    The Bitterest Pills has been awarded the 2013 PROSE Award in Psychology. The book by Joanna Moncrieff, challenges the accepted account that portrays antipsychotics as specific treatments that target an underlying brain disease as antipsychotic drugs have become some of the biggest blockbusters of the early 21st century and increasingly prescribed. Congratulations to Joanna on this important achivement.

Nicola is responsible for publishing research books across all sub-disciplines of psychology and mental health. She is interested in receiving proposals for Palgrave Pivots, research monographs, edited collections, Handbooks, and research based books for practitioners.
