The logistics of producing a large and complex text like this at high speed inevitably means that a few errors will inevitably creep in which will, of course, be corrected when the book is reprinted. The following have been noted to date in the first printing:

Page 226 (top of second column): Scottish Executive's power to vary income tax rates should read 'by up to 3p in the pound' not 'by up to 33p in the pound'.
