About the list
Recent years have seen enormous growth both in research and in student numbers in these areas of study. In response to this Palgrave Macmillan is developing its publishing to serve students, practitioners and scholars in the field.
At undergraduate level we publish a range of key textbooks by leading names in the field, such as Mike Pearson's Site-Specific Performance, Acting Professionally, by Robert Cohen, and Devising in Process, by Alex Mermikides and Jackie Smart, alongside our acclaimed and respected series Theatre& edited by Dan Rebellato and Jen Harvie, and Theatre and Performance Practices edited by Graham Ley and Jane Milling.
At a higher level, highlights include two stimulating series, Performance Interventions (edited by Elaine Aston and Bryan Reynolds) and Studies in International Performance (edited by Janelle Reinelt and Brian Singleton, and published in association with IFTR/FIRT), which feature cutting-edge monographs and edited collections aimed at upper-level students, scholars and practitioners. We also publish the established Redefining British Theatre History series (edited by Peter Holland, and published in association with the Huntington Library)
