Description

The Quality Report provides information about all aspects of quality relating to the 2001 Census in England and Wales. In conjunction with the General Report, it provides a comprehensive evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the Census operation.

The Report provides an overview of the quality issues and the studies and analyses that have been carried out to improve the quality of Census data. It deals with the lifecycle of the Census project stage by stage, and then provides measures of each of the attributes of quality as defined by the European Statistical System. The final part describes the components of quality of the data for each Census operation.
