The QAA's Personal Development Planning initiative should be operational across the UK HE system by the beginning of the academic year 2005-6*. Skills for Success is the essential guide that will help lecturers prepare and deliver effective PDP. It enables students to think creatively and constructively about personal, academic and career goals and to plan a path towards achieving them. It is rich in structured, reflective and practical activities that develop the skills valued by employers, and also contains excellent materials for recording achievement.
