Ordering Online on Palgrave.com

A more detailed guide can be found in our help section

You can use our Online Ordering Bookshop for the purposes of requesting a title for purchase or inspection after searching or browsing for titles in our Catalogue. Having first selected your title(s) via the Catalogue add the title(s) to your shopping basket by clicking on ‘Order Title’. At this point you will need to login using your username and password. For more details on how to set up an account with us - please visit the My Palgrave section. Then simply select the appropriate order request and fill out the form provided. You will then receive confirmation that Palgrave Macmillan has received your order via e-mail.

Once you have added the book(s) to your shopping basket you will automatically see the title details (Title, author, ISBN, price) and will have the choice of ordering for purchase, inspection or review and of recommending title(s) to your library. Once you finalised your choice you will then be directed to an order form which has been tailored to your specific order request.

After you have filled in the order form your details will be transmitted to Palgrave Macmillan via our secure online ordering facility and your title(s) will be processed for despatch within 24 hours. Please note, delivery times may vary depending on location.

Inspection Copy Service

Many Palgrave Macmillan and WH Freeman titles are available on inspection to teaching staff. Only those items showing the 'Available on Inspection' banner (or the Inspection copy logo in the catalogue) can be ordered on this basis.

Please note that inspection copy requests are subject to authorisation. Requests to send inspection copies overseas are fulfilled entirely at the discretion of our local representatives or sales offices. Titles marked 'Available on Inspection' will be sent to teachers and lecturers who are considering adopting the text as a course book. If this adoption leads to 12 or more sales, the book may be retained free-of-charge. Please note that you cannot purchase and request an ICS copy of the same book, and you may only request one ICS copy of a book. If you have any queries please email lecturerservices@palgrave.com

Having first selected your title(s) via the Catalogue add the title(s) to your shopping basket by clicking on ‘Order Title’. Then simply select the ‘Inspection’ order request and fill out the form provided.

On receipt of your inspection copy we would be very grateful if you would complete a questionnaire for each title retained without payment. You may use the questionnaire enclosed with your inspection copy or simply fill in the online Inspection Copy Questionnaire provided.

Please note that you cannot purchase and request an ICS copy of the same book, and you may only request one ICS copy of a book.

ICS orders are subject to authorization by your local representative and will be rejected if we feel that they are inappropriate.

Requests from the USA, Australia and New Zealand will be passed on to relevant sister companies.
