1. The promoter of this competition is Palgrave Macmillan Ltd (the "Promoter"). The Promoter is a publisher of educational books and is part of Macmillan Publishers Ltd. These terms and conditions govern the Competition. The Promoter's principal place of business is at Brunel Road, Houndmills, Basingstoke, Hants, RG21 6XS
2. All entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry. The eligibility of any entrant is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Employees, families or agents of the Promoter and/or any of its associated companies are not eligible to enter the Competition.
3. To enter the competition, entrants must purchase 30 copies or more of the texts listed in the schools brochure, quoting the code: SCHOOLS10. All entrants must leave full contact details in order to be entered into the competition. Competition expiry date is 31st March 2010, orders received after this date will not be entered into the competition.
4. Entry to the competition is via email to orders@palgrave.com upon quoting SCHOOLS10 and placing an order of 30 copies or more of the texts listed in the brochure and no other method of entry will be accepted.
5. By entering the competition, you hereby warrant that all the information submitted by you in your application is true.
6. The Promoter may at its sole discretion, substitute any prize for a prize of a similar nature and/or comparable value. Winners may not request and are not entitled to a cash alternative to their prize and their prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any lost, damaged or incomplete entries and all such entries will be deemed invalid. Proof of entry shall not be proof of delivery or receipt. Only entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions will be acceptable. The Promoter will not be liable if a Prize cannot be taken by a winner for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter.
8. Travel expenses or any other related expenses in relation to the prize will not be paid for by Macmillan Publishers Ltd. Prize availability and dates are subject to change.
9. The winner of the competition will be contacted directly by Macmillan Publishers Ltd after the 31st March 2010.
10. The winner may be required to participate in publicity surrounding this promotion.
11. By entering the Competition, all entrants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, change the dates of entry into the Competition and/or the dates on which the Competition will be promoted and the Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or withdraw these Terms and Conditions and/or the competition without prior notice.
12. The terms and conditions of any third party supplier may apply and must be accepted and complied with by the winner.
13. Other than for death or personal injury arising from negligence of the Promoter, so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter hereby excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost and expense, whether direct or indirect, howsoever caused in connection with the Competition or any aspect of the prize.
14. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the law.
