When you write the introduction of an article review, make sure it

• includes all the necessary bibliographical information;
• states the topic of the article;
• establishes the purpose of the review;
• mentions the audience of the article;
• refers to the journal where it has been published;
• evaluates the journal as an appropriate forum for the article; and
• mentions what type of article it is.
