About this book

This new addition to the Author Chronologies series details the tumultuous and tragic life of Katherine Mansfield (she died from tuberculosis aged only thirty-four) and sheds new light on her approach and attitudes to writing.

Reviews

'This is an indispensable addition to Mansfield scholarship, bringing Mansfield's life into the foreground amongst the very illustrious, arguably more widely known, writers she knew. Essential for any university library supporting undergraduate or postgraduate study of literary Modernism.' - Linda Kemp, Reference Reviews
