About the author

GIUSEPPE SCHIAVONE is Professor of International Organizations at the Italian National School of Public Administration, President of the Institute of European Studies 'Alcide de Gasperi', Rome, and President of the Institut Robert Schuman pour l'Europe. He has written extensively on intergovernmental institutions and is the author of all seven editions of International Organizations.
