How long does an order take to be delivered?
Palgrave Macmillan prioritises all orders placed online. Orders placed Monday to Friday are processed swiftly so that, if they are in stock, they will be ready for dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. Orders placed at the weekend will wait until Monday morning for processing so will take a couple of days longer to dispatch.
Once dispatched, delivery should take between 5-15 working days, depending on the delivery destination and method. You can specify Courier delivery at the time of ordering.
For MAIL DELIVERY the UK Post Office quotes Air Mail delivery times for Western Europe of 3-5 working days and for the rest of the World 10-15 working days. However we have noticed that mail delivery to Western Europe is taking up to 15-25 days and delivery to other destinations has been taking 3-4 weeks. Please note that these delivery times are estimated and mail delivery is not trackable. These delivery times are outside of our control, so if you would like your order to be delivered more quickly please contact us directly at email@example.com for more details re. courier deliveries.
How is my order delivered?
Standard delivery orders will usually be dispatched by Royal Mail. There is no tracking on this method. Should the courier option be selected then delivery will be made via our nominated carrier. The courier used is determined according to the country of destination.
