About this book

The skill of interaction is the main theme of this book. Experienced nurses all say that caring for someone involves doing things for, and being able to relate to, that person. About the author

HOWARD SIMPSON, M.Ed. (Human Relations), Dip.Ed. (Counselling), BA, SRN, RMN, RNT, is head of the District Psychiatric Education Centre at Mapperley Hospital, Nottingham, part of the Mid-Trent College of Nursing and Midwifery. He has taught human-relationship skills for twelve years. Prior to that he worked as a staff nurse and charge nurse in London and Yorkshire.
