About this book
Breakthrough French 3 is part of the highly acclaimed Breakthrough Language Series and an extensively revised new edition of the best-selling Breakthrough Further French. It is designed for learners of French with a reasonable knowledge of the language (perhaps for two to three years of study whether in classes or less formally). It aims to extend the learner's vocabulary over a wide range of topics and to improve conversational and reading skills. About the authors
JENNY OLLERENSHAW was formerly Lecturer in French and a materials developer and writer at the Centre for Modern Languages at the Open University. She has been a professional languages material writer for the last 10 years specialising the writing of self-access materials for adults.
STEPHANIE RYBAK has worked in several universities taking a particular interest in adult foreign language learning. She is the author of many successful courses including New Breakthrough French and Breakthrough French 2. She has worked for many years as a full time author.
BRIAN HILL is Head of the School of Languages at the University of Brighton. He is an experienced and respected author, series editor and has worked on the Breakthrough Series since it was first conceived in 1982.
