About the editors

ROBERT HUDSON is Senior Lecturer in European Studies (History and Politics) in the School of European and International Studies at the University of Derby. Formerly he taught at the Université de Haute Bretagne - Rennes II, France and spent a post-graduate scholarship year at the University of Sarajevo, SFRJ. Since 1994 he has been involved in a variety of activities in the Yugoslav successor states, including several missions with the OSCE and humanitarian aid organisations.

FRED RÉNO is Senior Lecturer in Political Science at the Université des Antilles et de la Guyane and is director of CRPLC (Centre de Recherche sur les Pouvoirs Locaux dans la Caribe). Formerly he was Senior Lecturer in Political Science at the Université de Haute Bretagne - Rennes II.
