About the editors
Alexandra Lopes teaches Theories of Culture, Translation History and Theory at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Her research interests are literary translation, translation history and culture studies. She has published on culture and translation studies, as well as translations of works by Peter Handke, Hertha Müller, William Boyd, Salman Rushdie.
Mónica Dias currently works in the field of Democracy Studies, Peace Studies and International Conflict at . Her recent book is Gender Violence in Armed Conflict (co-edited with Carla Gomes and Francisco Leandro, 2013).
