About the author
W. ARTHUR CHAPMAN is Senior Lecturer in Computing and Mathematics at Edinburgh Telford College. He has taught programming using a variety of languages, and has been involved in computer training for business and industry.
WILLIAM BUCHANAN, the series editor, is Senior Lecturer at Napier University. He is also an experienced author who has written a number of computing books. He acts as a consultant, and is a founding partner of Real-Time Technologies, a start-up company within Napier University.
