About the authors

DEREK HEATER has taught History at school, college and undergraduate level. He was the founder-chairman of the Politics Association and is the author of a number of books on History and Politics.

G. R. BERRIDGE is Professor of Politics, University of Leicester and the author of several books in the field of International Relations.
