About this book
Presents the reader with a comprehensive and comprehensible description of modern colour television receivers. Theory is combined with practical circuits and designs, based on modern commercial practice. Substantial sections of the book deal with the application of integrated circuits to television, both in relation to the basic circuitry and also to 'peripheral' systems such as remote control and touch-tuning. The emphasis is on PAL-D systems, and throughout the book reference is made to the practical aspects of TV servicing and to the accompanying safety considerations.
