About this book

This book looks at child abuse from the child's own perspective. Drawing on studies of other victims of abuse such as hostages and concentration camp prisoners, and the accounts of adult survivors of child abuse, it serves as a practical guide both to increasing an understanding of the reactions of children to their abuse, and to providing a support system for victims.
