About this book

This book examines the different environments which shape the conduct of business in Europe and explains the main determinants of the business environment. The main focus is on the countries of the European Community but, where appropriate, reference is also made to the wider Europe. Each chapter considers both the European and the national levels. The impact of the European Community on the many facets of the business environment constitutes a central theme of the book.
