Reviews

'This ambitious book is both a welcome and long overdue addition to the financial literature for market participants. For the first time, a comprehensive and insightful framework within which to analyze the full spectrum of investment strategies is available. Dowling's grasp of theoretical and practical issues is most impressive as he introduces new and innovative techniques that draw on developments from a diverse range of fields. This book represents a significant step forward in understanding markets and exciting new tools emerge that practitioners cannot afford to ignore. Ultimately an excellent, well-balanced contribution that's a must-read for all.' - Dr Brian Fleming, Quantitative Analyst, Standard Life Investments

'Bart Dowling goes beyond tinkering with tired theories and successfully tackles the cutting edge models relevant for practitioners.' - Edgar van Tuyll, Chief Quantitative Strategist, Pictet, Switzerland
