Reviews

"A superb analysis of how the scourge of their kidnapping and sale is suffered by so many species of wildlife in all regions of planet Earth. Comprehensive in scope and very well crafted in approach." - Piers Beirne, University of Southern Maine, USA

'Tanya Wyatt is one of the leading international analysts of a global trade that is of enormous significance yet was barely noted until quite recently. Illegal trading in wildlife has multiple damaging effects and Wyatt is an expert guide to the problems posed and the policing and policy responses.' - Nigel South, University of Essex, UK

"In this book Tanya Wyatt provides a clear and concise overview of the victims, offenders, impacts and responses to wildlife trafficking on a global scale. Beautifully written, it offers a comprehensive and wide ranging discussion underpinned by a moral stance that reinforces the importance of respect and responsibility on a shared planet. It is both an analysis and a call to action. Notto be missed." - Rob White, University of Tasmania, Australia
