About the authors

BARRY TURNER has worked on both sides of publishing, as an editor and marketing director and also as an author. He has been a full time writer for over 30 years and has worked as a journalist and broadcaster in the fields of politics, biography, travel and education. As well as being the author of over 20 books, Barry is the editor of The Statesman's Yearbook and The Writer's Handbook, and is a regular contributor to The Times as a book reviewer and serializer.
