Case Studies in Contemporary Criticism

This series is designed to introduce students to contemporary trends in literary theory and criticism. Each volume reprints the text of a classic work of literature along with five essays (specially prepared for student audiences) that read the work from five contemporary critical perspectives. Editorial material includes biographical and critical introductions to the work, introductions, with bibliographies, to the critical perspectives and a glossary of critical and theoretical terms.
