About the author
Dr Christianne F. Collantes is an Associate Professor of Political Science at De La Salle University. She obtained her doctoral degree from the Centre of Gender Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and was later a Visiting Research Fellow at Ateneo de Manila University, working in both the Philippines and Rome, Italy with the feminist communications organization, Isis International.
