This book is the work of Charles Chen Yidan, “the Father of China’s Internet Philanthropy”. It is based on the long-term research and practices of Tencent Research Institute and the Tencent Foundation. It reviews the recent history of internet-based charity during the past 20 years. CHEN Yidan (陈一丹, born 1971), also known as Charles CHEN, is a Chinese internet entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is a core founder of Tencent, founder of the Tencent Foundation, founder of the Chen Yidan Charity Foundation, and founder of the Yidan Prize.
