Asian Business & Management welcomes new Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Yipeng Liu, FAcSS

We are very delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Yipeng Liu as the new Editor-in-Chief of Asian Business & Management (ABM) from 2024. Prof. Liu took over the editorship of the journal from Prof. Fabian J. Froese, who completed his second 3-year term as Editor-in-Chief at the end of 2023.

Prof. Liu is Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, UK and his research expertise and interests include entrepreneurship and innovation, international industry ecosystem, mergers and acquisitions, emerging economies, international business, and sustainable development. His recent editorial articulates his vision to continuously develop and grow ABM with quality and impact.

Asian Business & Management 2019 Impact

We are pleased to announce that the impact of Asian Business & Management continues to increase. The 2019 impact factor has increased from 1.231 to 2.192, and the journal has strengthened its position in the 2nd quartile of the Business and International Management category of the Scimago Journal Rank. These results, reported in the Clarivate Analytics 2018 Journal Citation Reports®, and Scimago Journal Rank powered by Scopus are testament to the consistent hard work of the Editor-in-Chief and his editorial team, and we congratulate them for their achievement.

Asian Business & Management Impact Factor rises to 1.231

We are pleased to announce that the 2018 Impact Factor for Asian Business & Management has increased from 1.179 to 1.231. The journal’s 5-year Impact Factor also increased from 1.168 to 1.3. These results, reported in the Clarivate Analytics 2018 Journal Citation Reports®, are testament to the consistent hard work of the Editor-in-Chief and his editorial team, and we congratulate them for their achievement.

Palgrave Macmillan AJBS Best Paper Award 2021

Congratulations to Flavio Jorge Freire D Andrade Battistuzzo and Mario Henrique Ogasavara who were recently awarded the Palgrave Macmillan AJBS Best Paper prize for their paper ‘Sequential investments and the survival of Japanese subsidiaries in the context of institutional theory’.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Fabian J. Froese (University of Goettingen, Germany) as the incoming Editor of Asian Business & Management (ABM) from 2018. Prof. Froese will be taking over editorship of the journal from Prof. Michael A. Witt, who will complete his second 3-year term as Editor-in-Chief at the end of 2017.

Prof. Froese is currently Professor and Chair of Human Resource Management and Asian Business at the University of Goettingen, and his research interests include international management, cross-cultural management, and human resource management.
