Contemporary Political Theory operates the submissions and review process strictly in digital only format. All manuscripts for review must be submitted as an attachment to an email sent to the editors at the following email address:
submissions@contemporarypoliticaltheory.org
Please do not send hard copies of manuscripts and please do not use any other email address for manuscript submission or correspondence concerning a manuscript under review.
In addition to the considerations noted above under manuscript preparation, please make certain that the digital file you send is anonymous. Anonymizing the digital file may require removing author information from the ‘properties’ field in MS Word and from the properties or ‘get info’ field of the file itself.
Please send only one file, as prepared above. The following formats are all acceptable, but are listed in preferred order:
- Pages (.pages)
- MS Word (.doc)
- MS Word (.docx)
- RTF
We regret that we cannot accept files in WordPerfect format (.wpd), Microsoft Works format (.wps) or any other formats not listed above
