Gil-Soo Han is a sociologist and teaches Communications and Media Studies at Monash University, Australia. His research areas include sociology of media, religion, health/medicine, and ethnic studies. His publications include Korean Diaspora and Media in Australia (2012) and Nouveau-riche Nationalism and Multiculturalism in Korea: A Media Narrative Analysis (2016).
