It provides a backdrop of the sub-prime mortgage crisis in the US characterised by the Lehman Brothers debacle in 2007-08, which precipitated global economic and financial crisis.

About the authors

Yomi Makanjuola received a Ph.D. degree in Materials Engineering in 1985 from Loughborough University, Loughborough, UK.
 He joined Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in December 1985 and rose to become an Associate Partner. Presently he works as a free-lance business consultant and ghost-writer.
